Our range of fully steel reinforced Stable doors incorporate a well proven high security multi point locking system. Tempered steel hook bolts engage upwardly into rigid steel keeps set into the integral reinforcement of the frame providing enhanced security with an anti-jemmy feature ensuring maximum resistance to forced entry, these in built features combined with additional adjustable roller cams ensure both a secure and weather tight seal.

A key locking handle ensures the lower sash can be kept securely closed whilst the upper sash can be operated independently. The upper sash of the Stable Door, sometimes called a (barn door) is deadlocked by a key operated security cylinder with the option of an auto latch facility. This option requires the use of a key for external access at all times

Both upper and lower sashes of the exterior Stable Door are locked together by a unique concealed snapper catch mechanism which allows the door to be opened as a conventional single leaf.

The security of the Door can be further enhanced by the addition of a Safe “T” Catch, this cleverly designed concealed mechanism provides the perfect modern solution to the traditional surface mounted safety chain.

The robust construction of the four fully adjustable flag hinges has been proven to resist the most forceful of attacks. Each hinge has four steel pins that penetrate the integral steel reinforcing of both the Doors frame and sash, the hinges are also adjustable in three dimensions to ensure long lasting performance with the added benefit of ultra low maintenance.

With fully adjustable hinges the Stable Door can be adjusted horizontally and vertically so it opens and closes perfectly every time. It also has a bespoke central seal so there are no draughts or leaks. And because it’s manufactured to high performance specifications, it offers security, durability and low maintenance as standard as well as being backed by a full 10 year guarantee.

Our Stable Door is available with two sizes of glass in the top half of the door - Spy View and View Light, as well as a solid version with no glass. Home owners can choose from a variety of colours and woodgrain finishes both externally and internally.
